Omega-3 Clarity
Most omega-3 supplements are underdosed. Here's why that matters.
The landmark cardiovascular studies — REDUCE-IT, STRENGTH — used 4g of EPA per day. The meta-analyses showing reduced inflammation and cognitive benefit use at least 1g of combined EPA/DHA. Most fish oil capsules on the market contain 300–600mg of EPA+DHA per serving. You'd need to take 3–6 of them to hit the clinical dose. And then there's the quality question.
Fish oil oxidizes. Oxidized omega-3s don't just fail to help — some research suggests they may actually raise inflammation markers. We use triglyceride-form oil (the natural form found in fish) rather than the cheaper ethyl ester form. It's more stable, and it absorbs up to 70% better. We then encapsulate it in enteric-coated softgels so it opens past the stomach — no fishy burps, no repeat, no smell on your breath.
Two softgels gives you 2,000mg of combined EPA and DHA: 1,200mg EPA and 800mg DHA. That ratio is intentional — EPA for inflammation pathways, mood, and cardiovascular function; DHA for the structural integrity of brain cell membranes. Every batch is tested for heavy metals, PCBs, and oxidation markers before it ships.

I gave up on fish oil years ago because of the taste. My friend convinced me to try these. Completely different experience. No repeat, no smell. I've been taking them for six weeks. My GP commented that my triglyceride numbers had improved at my last checkup. I told her about these. She approved.
Every other fish oil I've tried was 500mg EPA/DHA in three capsules. That's basically nothing. At 2,000mg in two capsules, this is the first one that made sense to me. I take it with dinner every night. Dry eyes noticeably better after about four weeks.
